WELCOME

Biodiversity Assessment and Management Pty Ltd (BAAM) is a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled ecologists, botanists and zoologists committed to the application of systematic science to project and conservation planning. The BAAM team has specialist knowledge of vegetation communities and species, terrestrial and aquatic vertebrate and invertebrate fauna species and habitats, and in-house multidisciplinary environmental science for full project comprehension, planning and integration.

BAAM has the ability to undertake detailed fauna and flora inventory and habitat identification, or to concentrate on specific species and species habitat management issues. In particular, it is not solely the ability to accurately list species presence or absence that represents our strength. It is our ability to comprehensively interpret survey results, define the relevance of results to legislation and determine the implications of the results for planning and management that provides the greatest value to our clients. BAAM has the credentials and experience to stand by its findings and interpretations in a court of law, with a proven track record in such cases.

Our services have been provided to a broad range of clients including Federal, State and Local Government bodies, major utilities, volunteer organisations and private companies and corporations (both mining and infrastructure).
