COMPANY RESOURCES Professional Contacts and Networks One of BAAM's most important resources is our strong ties to leading experts in the ecological field. The number and strength of these ties separates BAAM from many of our competitors. This network, which includes Museum, University and Government staff, enables BAAM to quickly and reliably obtain up-to-date information and knowledge. Flora, fauna and biodiversity assessments require skills and equipment for a variety of ecological disciplines. BAAM has all the necessary equipment for terrestrial vertebrate surveys, terrestrial invertebrate surveys, aquatic vertebrate surveys, aquatic invertebrate surveys and both terrestrial and aquatic flora surveys. This includes specialist equipment such as night scopes, ANABAT and ZCAIM records, Harp Traps and field telescopes. In addition to our wide variety of traps and detection equipment, BAAM owns other indispensable field resources such as digital and SLR cameras, GPS units, First Aid Kits etc. Company vheicles with appropriate capabilities and safety features are used to carry out field investigations. Baam has acheived all of the requirements necessary to obtain permits, licences and ethics clearance enabling our staff to census, collect and handle wildlife, for both terrestrial and aquatic plants and animals in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. BAAM staff are also permitted for fauna spotting/catching under Queensland legislation. The BAAM office is fully equipped and includes:
